When you schedule a cryotherapy appointment at Leg Up Recovery, you can expect to have a dedicated Health Expert with you throughout your session. Cold gear including socks, ear muffs, gloves, slippers, and robes are provided for your protection while receiving therapy. Enjoy a relaxing infrared sauna session with our Sunlighten MPulse 3 in 1® Infrared Sauna. This sauna provides near, mid, and far infrared light to provide different levels of intensity. Regular sauna sessions can be used to improve weight loss, pain management, anti-aging, improve skin conditions, and detox the body from harmful materials. Leg Up Recovery provides towels and robes to wear within the sauna and wipe down with afterwards. You will also have a choice of duration (we recommend at least 15 minutes), temperature and program setting. We have prebuilt programs for pain management, detox, and weight loss.

Salt Therapy
Aerosolized salt is used within our salt chamber which may help to cleanse and detoxify the skin and respiratory systems. Salt has been used for decades as a natural antibiotic and exfoliant. When inhaled, salt may work to decrease bacteria and mucus throughout the respiratory tract leading to less asthma, allergy, and bacterial infection symptoms. For the skin, salt may help lessen symptoms related to psoriasis, eczema, and allergies.

This therapy can be used to target specific problem areas on the body for greater benefits. A Cryo-T Elephant localized machine will be used during sessions to provide a chilled air stream perfect for targeted use. Localized cryotherapy is completed by a trained health expert who is with clients every step of the way. Benefits can be seen directly following the appointment including decreased inflammation and pain reduction. Localized cryotherapy is perfect for those that have a small problem area but don’t want to do a whole body session.

Compression Therapy

Compared to other systems currently on the market, the Rapid Reboot offers a variety of new features including compartmentalized compression to target specific areas. This means different pressures can be used in different areas depending on the individual user’s needs and preferences. What’s better? Once you find your settings, you can have them saved to your profile for your next visit! For first time users, you will have a dedicated Health Expert walk you through how the Rapid Reboot system works and guide you to find the correct compression strength. EMS therapy in Alpharetta. Leg Up Recovery uses MarcPro devices which are FDA approved medical devices to deliver EMS (Electrical Muscle Stimulation) therapy to clients. The MarcPro delivers small electrical impulses to muscles to improve recovery while decreasing pain and inflammation. We do require that all clients purchase their own EMS electrode pads to ensure a sanitary therapy space for all clients, but don’t worry, we have the pads in store!
